Garlic Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients
- 1 pound of Brussels sprouts cut in half
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil can use grapeseed oil too but the coconut adds delicious flavour
- ½ c slivered almonds
- 3 cloves garlic finely chopped
Instructions
- In a steamer, lightly steam Brussels sprouts, about 8-10 minutes, drain and set aside
- On medium heat, melt coconut oil in a saucepan. Add almonds and garlic. Saute until golden brown
- Add steamed Brussels sprouts and stir for about 1-2 minutes
- Season with a little salt and pepper if desired, serve warm
